Each via ferrata kit includes:

Whether you're a beginner, an occasional climber, or an experienced mountain enthusiast, our equipment is regularly inspected and maintained to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

Good to know

- 📅 Rental is available Monday to Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. / 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- 💳 Please bring a valid ID, which will be scanned as a security deposit.
- 📦 Weekend rentals: Please book your equipment for Friday.
- 🎉 Weekend offer: Pay for one day only and collect your equipment before 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
- 🔄 Weekend returns: Return the equipment any time on Monday.
- 🗺️ A via ferrata guidebook is available in our shop to help you choose the best route.
- 🚫 Access to the via ferrata sites is by car or on foot only – no shuttle service is available from our location.

How your hire works

Pick up your via ferrata kit in store

Collect your harness, helmet, and lanyards at 1 Quai Créqui in Grenoble. Our team will explain how to use the equipment and recommend the best via ferrata route based on your experience level.

Choose your via ferrata

Using the Takamaka guidebook, choose your route from the via ferrata sites at La Bastille, Alpe du Grand Serre, Chamrousse, or the Chartreuse Mountains, with routes suitable for everyone from beginners to experienced climbers.

Head to the via ferrata

Reach your chosen via ferrata on foot or by car. Enjoy a self-guided adventure along cables, ladders, and rock faces while taking in breathtaking views over the Grenoble Valley and the French Alps.

Return the equipment to the store

Return your kit during our opening hours (9:00 am–12:00 pm / 2:00 pm–6:00 pm). Your security deposit will be refunded once the equipment has been returned in good condition.
