Bivouac sleeping bag hire
Sleep comfortably beneath the Alpine sky with a sleeping bag selected to suit the season and expected temperatures.
Description
Prepare for your next night outdoors with a bivouac sleeping bag rental in Grenoble for €15. 🏕️ Takamaka offers Husky models suited to warm summer trips as well as colder winter nights across Isère.
❄️ The team selects the appropriate sleeping bag according to the season and expected conditions, allowing you to explore the French Alps without buying your own.
🛏️ The hire includes a Husky sleeping bag selected by the team based on the season and the forecast temperatures. The Husky Mini summer model has a comfort temperature of 12 °C, a limit of 8 °C and an extreme temperature of 0 °C. It weighs approximately 820 g, measures 210 × 85 cm and has a packed size of approximately 24 × 13 cm. The Husky Enjoy winter model has a comfort temperature of –1 °C, a limit of –7 °C and an extreme temperature of –25 °C. It weighs approximately 2.15 kg and has a packed size of approximately 41 × 27 cm.
🌡️ The extreme temperature should never be considered a comfort temperature: always choose your equipment based on the comfort temperature, your sensitivity to the cold, altitude, humidity and the quality of the insulating mattress. There is a single rate: €15 per day, regardless of the model allocated. You do not need to select ‘summer’ or ‘winter’ when booking; Takamaka will provide you with the appropriate sleeping bag directly on site.
📍 Collection is at 1 Quai de Créqui in Grenoble, Monday to Friday from 9 am to 12 noon and from 2 pm to 6 pm. For the weekend, book for Friday, collect the duvet before 6 pm and return it on Monday during the day: the rate remains at €15, which is the price for one day. You’ll be asked to present an ID card, which will be scanned as a security deposit. These terms and conditions are in line with the current Takamaka policy.

Why choose Takamaka ?
🏕️ Renting your sleeping bag from Takamaka Grenoble means you do not have to choose a model based solely on a headline temperature rating. The team matches the equipment to the season and expected conditions, supplying a lightweight Husky Mini for warmer summer nights or a more insulated Husky Enjoy for cold-weather trips. This seasonal approach helps balance warmth, packed size and the weight carried in your backpack.
❄️ Takamaka can also help you complete your sleep system with an appropriate insulated mat, which is essential for reducing heat loss into the ground. This understanding of Alpine bivouacs and thermal equipment is backed by 30 years of Takamaka experience in outdoor activities.
