FAQ
Are the trekking poles adjustable ?
Yes. The poles are telescopic and can be adjusted in length. Always make sure each section is securely locked before starting your hike.
What are trekking poles useful for ?
They provide additional support on climbs and descents, improve stability on uneven terrain and can help distribute effort when hiking with a loaded backpack.
How should I adjust trekking poles ?
On relatively flat ground, aim for a comfortable position with your arms slightly bent. The length can then be adapted according to the slope, your height and personal preference.
Are trekking poles useful for bivouac trips ?
Yes. They can be particularly useful on multi-day hikes with a loaded bivouac backpack, where the additional weight makes climbs, descents and uneven sections more demanding.
