🧗 The Petzl Dual Canyon Club lanyards are designed for anchors, safety lines and technical movement through the canyons of Isère.
💦 A convenient option for experienced canyoners exploring the French Alps without purchasing their own equipment.
🧗 The hire package includes a pair of Petzl Dual Canyon Club lanyards at a rate of €8 per day. Carabiners, a harness, a descender, a helmet, a wetsuit, socks, shoes and shared equipment are not listed as included. Transport to the canyon is also at your own expense.
📍 Collection is from Takamaka Grenoble, at 1 quai de Créqui, Monday to Friday from 9 am to 12 noon and from 2 pm to 6 pm. For weekend hire, book the lanyards for Friday, collect them before 6 pm and return them on Monday during the day: the rate remains at €8, which is the price for a single day.
🪪 You will be asked to present an identity card, which will be scanned for the deposit.
⚠️ Self-guided hire is reserved for people who have already practised canyoning and possess the necessary skills to use the lanyards correctly and progress safely. Before setting off, check the weather, water flow, flood risks, any planned water releases and the regulations for the canyon.

No, carabiners are not included and must be provided or hired separately.
What are canyoning lanyards used for ?
They allow a canyoner to connect temporarily to an anchor, handline or appropriate safety point. Correct use requires technical knowledge, and the lanyards do not replace other progression or belaying equipment.
How does weekend lanyard rental work ?
Book the lanyards for Friday, collect them before 6 pm and return them during the day on Monday. The total price remains €8. Published opening hours are 9 am–12 noon and 2 pm–6 pm from Monday to Friday.
