Description

Prepare for your next descent with a waterproof canyoning backpack rental in Grenoble for €10.

🎒 Designed to carry equipment through wet approaches and confined canyon sections, it is a practical companion for routes across Isère.

💦 Ideal for independent canyoners exploring the French Alps without purchasing their own specialist pack.

Good to know

🎒 The hire includes a canyoning rucksack at a rate of €10 per day.

📍 Collection is from Takamaka Grenoble, at 1 Quai de Créqui, Monday to Friday from 9 am to 12 noon and from 2 pm to 6 pm. For weekends, book the bag for Friday, collect it before 6 pm and return it on Monday during the day: the rate remains at €10, which is the price for one day.

🪪 You will be asked to present an ID card, which will be scanned as a security deposit.

⚠️ Self-guided hire is reserved for people who have already practised canyoning and are proficient in the techniques required for a safe outing. Before setting off, check the weather, water flow, flood risks, water releases and local regulations.

Why choose Takamaka ?

🎒 Hiring your canyoning rucksack from Takamaka Grenoble means you can use kit specifically designed for carrying equipment in a damp, rocky and confined environment. Unlike a standard hiking rucksack, a rucksack designed for canyoning must be able to withstand submersion, abrasion and repeated handling throughout the route.

💦 This expertise in aquatic equipment and the specific challenges of alpine canyons is based on Takamaka’s 30 years’ experience in outdoor activities. The current page still states 20 years’ experience and will need to be updated.

What can I carry in a canyoning backpack ?

A canyoning bag is mainly used to carry your personal belongings, such as a towel, a change of clothes, a bottle of water or a small snack. Items that are sensitive to moisture should be placed in a waterproof pouch or container.
