💦 The 5 mm Seland GORBEA adult one-piece wetsuit helps protect you from the cold while progressing through the canyons of Isère.
🏔️ Designed for experienced, independent canyoners, it is a practical way to explore the French Alps without purchasing your own wetsuit.
📍 The hire includes a Seland neoprene wetsuit, the GORBEA one-piece adult model, 5 mm thick and available here in size M. The price is €25. Transport to the canyon is not included, nor are the helmet, harness, lanyards, descender, carabiners, neoprene socks and shoes, unless you book a full kit.
🪪 You must present and have your ID scanned for the deposit. The agency is open Monday to Friday from 9 am to 12 noon and from 2 pm to 6 pm. For weekend hire, the equipment must be booked for Friday, collected before 6 pm and returned on Monday during the day; the offer covers a single day’s hire, at €25 for the weekend.
⚠️ This hire is reserved for people who have already practised canyoning and possess the technical skills required to navigate the route independently and safely.
Before setting off, check the weather, the water flow in the canyon, the risk of flooding, any local regulations and the condition of the route.

FAQ
Does a 5 mm canyoning wetsuit protect against cold water ?
The 5 mm neoprene helps reduce heat loss during immersion and movement through water. It cannot eliminate the risk of becoming cold or developing hypothermia, which also depends on water temperature, route duration and personal sensitivity.
What equipment is included with the canyoning wetsuit ?
The hire package includes only the Seland GORBEA 5 mm one-piece adult wetsuit. The helmet, harness, lanyards, descender, carabiners, neoprene socks and booties can be included in the kit for €35.
How does weekend wetsuit rental work ?
Book the equipment for Friday, collect it before 6 pm and return it on Monday during the day. The hire price for the weekend is the same as for a single day.
Can I use the wetsuit when it is raining ?
Rainfall alone does not determine whether a canyon is safe. Check current and upstream storms, water levels, flash-flood risk, dam releases and local guidance.
