Do you want to practice an unusual activity ? "La prise de la Bastille" is an urban via ferrata which offers an itinarery beginning at the doors of the city. It rises to the "Mont Rachais" and joins the Bastille fortifications which domined Grenoble and offered a wonderful view in the Alpes capital and its mountains.

For its first part, it offers an itinerary accessible for everyone and particulary fun. It has an impressive rope bridge over with a long suspension boardwalk. Thrills guaranteed !

The seconde one is accessible after a little walk in forest. It offers an itinerary more athletic, with around 3 level of difficulties. It permits to discover a beautiful view on Grenoble.

A little third part finish this via ferrata thanks to an pleasant exit directly on the Bastille fortifications.

This via ferrata is preferably practicable the morning in summer, and afternoon in winter because of the sun exposition.
